JENDAYICATZ BENGALS TERMS OF SALE
This document sets out the terms of our kitten/cat sales and the buyer acknowledges that by reading this documents either in digital format or via post and by proceeding with a sale and forwarding any and all monies to the seller that they agree to the terms set out herein:
1 / All sales are final, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN this includes any monies paid as a deposit or part payment.
2/ Cancellation of orders will result in any and all monies paid being forfeited.
3/ Should the seller be unable to supply a ordered kitten due to death/illness at any given time then the seller will have 6 months to furnish another suitable kitten.
4/ All monies must be paid upon pickup or prior to delivery of the kitten/cat. No cheques will be accepted for final payment. If paying via bank deposit all funds must be cleared before any kitten/cat will be released by the seller.
5/ For kittens ordered as pets or for export orders final payment is required when the kitten reaches 10 weeks of age.
6/ If the buyer requires that the kitten be held by the seller beyond 12 weeks of age the buyer agrees to pay the seller a boarding fee of $5.00 per day .
7/ All freight costs, including crates are payable by the buyer. For exports all freight costs, import/export licenses or permits, additional vaccinations, and any quarantine costs are payable by the buyer
8/ The cat/kitten purchased is guaranteed to be in good health and currently vaccinated and wormed and micro chipped at the time of sale. It is guaranteed for a period of 72 hours of time of purchase if vet checked within that time.
9/ The seller agrees to supply all vaccination cards and/ or micro-chip details
10/ If within 72 hours of purchase the cat/kitten is found to be medically deficient with a life threatening illness certified by a veterinarian then upon return of the kitten/cat a replacement cat/kitten of comparable quality will be offered at the discretion of the breeder . If no replacement is available at that time then the seller will have 6 months to furnish a replacement.
11/ The kitten/cat cannot be returned after the guarantee period has expired, and or if it has been exposed to another kitten/cat which is not currently vaccinated.
12/ It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide immediate veterinary care to any kitten/cat purchased showing signs of illness or distress and failure to do so will render any guarantee null and void.
13/ The buyer is responsible for any and all veterinary expenses incurred. The seller will accept no liability for any veterinary costs or costs associated with seeking veterinary treatment.
14/ Under no circumstance is the purchased kitten/cat to be destroyed prior to notification of the buyer to the seller.
15/ If the kitten/cat dies within the guarantee period a replacement kitten/cat will only be offered upon written proof from a veterinarian certifying the cause of death of the kitten/cat. No replacements will be offered for accidental deaths or deaths caused through neglect, cruelty, poisoning or as a direct result of the sellers actions.
16/ the kitten/cat is guaranteed against congenital defects for one year (12 months) from the date of purchase. Should the kitten/cat die within that period as a direct result of a congenital defect, the kitten/cat will be replaced only if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a licensed vet and a vet certificate is provided as proof of cause of death.
17/ For female kittens/cats purchased as breeders, the seller guarantees fertility. If after reaching 2 years of age a female has failed to conceive after being mated a minimum of at least 4 cycles and to 2 different proven studs then a suitable replacement of comparable quality will be offered on proof of desexing.The seller will have 6 months of receiving notification to furnish a replacement.
18/ For male kittens/cats purchased as breeders the seller agrees to guarantee fertility. If after reaching 2 years of age a male has not impregnated any females after being mated to at least 2 different proven queens for the duration of 4 cycles then a suitable replacement of comparable quality will be offered on proof of desexing.The seller will have six months of receiving notification to furnish a replacement.
19/ The kitten/cat is to be kept indoors or outdoors in a suitable enclosure or under supervision or control
20/ If this kitten/cat is found to be neglected or mistreated the buyer will surrender the kitten/cat to the seller unconditionally
21/ Should the buyer wish to re-home the kitten/cat in the future then the seller is to be contacted and given the option of helping to place the kitten/cat in a suitable approved home.
These terms of sale are binding and apply to the seller and buyer in this transaction and are non-transferable to other parties without prior written approval from the seller.

The term buyer refers to the person whose name appears on the receipt of purchase.
The term proven stud refers to an adult male cat that has sired kittens.
The term proven queen refers to an adult female cat that has given birth to kittens.
